About Loita Hills
The Loita Hills, southeast of the Mara, are the spiritual home of the Loita Maasai. There are no roads through these forests — only footpaths used for centuries. Our treks are run jointly with Iltepes community elders and donkeys carry your bags. You stay in bush camps and manyattas, drink chai under the stars, and walk between communities each day.
