What we do

Hiking, plus everything around it.

Tai Trails is a full-service trekking company. If it gets you up a mountain or out on a trail in Kenya, we can build it, kit it out, and lead it.

Guided Hiking & Trekking

From a Saturday on the Ngong Hills to a five-day traverse of Mount Kenya, every Tai Trails hike is led by KWS-certified guides who know the route in dry season and in mud.

  • Day hikes, weekend trips, and multi-day expeditions
  • Group sizes capped to preserve the experience
  • Permits, fees and logistics handled end-to-end

Mountaineering Expeditions

Technical routes on Mount Kenya (Batian, Nelion), Kilimanjaro variations, and a curated lineup of cross-border expeditions across East Africa.

  • Batian and Nelion technical climbs (MEC certified climbing guides)
  • Lemosho, Machame and Rongai routes on Kilimanjaro
  • Mount Meru, Rwenzori and Mount Stanley on request

  • Weekly social day hikes
  • Door-to-door pickup options in Nairobi
  • All abilities, including beginner-friendly routes
